About Julia

I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember.

In high school, I'd rope my friends into modeling so I could play with light and angles, then spend hours in the darkroom trying to get each print just right. In college, I studied abroad in Rome, chasing beautiful light across ancient streets and falling even deeper in love with photography.

After graduating, I spent years in the fast-paced world of advertising, surrounded by incredible creative minds. It taught me how to think differently — to find new ways of seeing and sharing beauty.

Everything changed when I became a mom. I realized how quickly time moves, how precious the little moments are, and how important it is to have photographs that feel like you. That's when I made the leap into full-time photography.

I love capturing real moments — the joy, the laughter, the tiny glances — because those are the things that matter most. And I feel lucky every day that I get to do this work.
